Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Tess Photos! Please take a moment to review the following terms, which help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

1. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable retainer of 30% is required at the time of booking to secure your session date.
The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the session.
Payment can be made via : PayPal, Zelle, Cash, etc.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance.
Your retainer may be transferred to a new date if rescheduled within 30 days.
In case of illness or emergency, we’ll work together to find a new date at no extra cost.

3. Weather Policy

For outdoor sessions, if weather conditions are unsafe or not suitable for photography, I will reach out to reschedule.
We’ll do our best to find a new date that works for both of us.

4. Arrival & Timing

Please arrive on time for your session. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time.
If you’re running more than 15 minutes late, your session may need to be rescheduled.

5. Photo Delivery

You will receive a private online gallery of edited images within 72 hours after your session.
The number of final images delivered will depend on your selected package.

6. Image Use

Tess Photos retains the copyright to all images and may use them for portfolio, website, and social media promotion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You receive personal use rights to download, print, and share your photos.
Images may not be edited, filtered, or altered in any way.

7. Client Responsibility

Please come to your session well-rested and prepared, especially with little ones.
I’ll guide you with gentle posing and natural movement—just bring your connection and joy!

8. Editing & Retouching

All final images will be professionally edited in Tess Photos’ signature style.
Additional retouching (e.g., background removal, extensive object edits) may be available for an extra fee.

9. Liability

Tess Photos is not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the session.
All efforts will be made to provide a safe and enjoyable experience.

10. Agreement

Booking a session with Tess Photos confirms your agreement to these terms.

Return and Refund Policy

At Tess Photos, every session and image is created with great care, intention, and artistic vision. I am committed to providing a high-quality, personalized experience for each client. Due to the nature of photography as a creative and time-based service, the following refund and return policy applies:

1. Retainers & Cancellations

The session retainer (deposit) is non-refundable. It secures your session date and covers initial planning, communication, and time reserved exclusively for you.
If you need to cancel, your retainer can be transferred once to a new date if rescheduled within 30 days of the original session date, subject to availability.

2. No Refunds on Completed Sessions

Due to the custom nature of photography, no refunds will be given once the session has taken place and images have been delivered.
If you are unsatisfied with your images for a valid reason, please reach out within 7 days of delivery to discuss your concerns. I’ll do my best to resolve the issue in a professional and fair manner.

3. Digital Files & Products

All digital files are non-refundable once delivered.
Printed products (albums, prints, etc.) are custom-made and cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or defective.
If your printed order arrives with an issue, please contact me within 5 business days with photos of the damage so I can assist you in replacing it.

4. Client Responsibility

It is the client’s responsibility to review session prep materials, arrive on time, and communicate any concerns or preferences in advance to ensure the best outcome.
